Welcome to the Indianapolis East Rotary

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

The 4 Way Test

From the earliest days of the organization, Rotarians were concerned with promoting high ethical standards in their professional lives. Adopted by Rotary in 1943, The Four-Way Test has been translated into more than a hundred languages and published in thousands of ways. It asks the following four questions:

Is it the TRUTH?

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Serving Our Local Community

The Indianapolis East Rotary was chartered on July 13, 1989. Our local club actively participates in service and contributions to our community including

  • Scholarships awarded to Warren Central High School students
  • Shoes for Warren Township middle school students
  • Community Food Pantry
  • District Gift of Life program
  • Support of Rotary Foundation and world-wide projects
Anyone can be a Rotarian. Rotary membership is open to everyone regardless of race, gender, orientation or religion. The only requirement for membership is a desire to help make a difference.

Rotary is an opportunity to build lifelong friendships and experience the personal fulfillment of providing volunteer service to others.
